Homemade Silhouette Target Stands

A few people requested that settles0226 and I post the specs for the target stands we built (they showed up in some of our posted pics) so here they are. Both stands are the same basic idea, only the dimensions are adjusted to accommodate a different sized target. You might sub a 2x4 for the 2x6 for simplicity's sake. We were building w/ scrap wood so that's why we used the 2x6. The actual targets we got at a local surplus store.

(stapled between uprights).


 


For only the cost of some wood screws, these stands have been working great for us. A suggestion from settle0226 is to use bolts and wing-nuts to attach the feet so you can detach them for ease of transport.
